Umineko No Naku Koro Ni – 15 – Who Are You and What Have You Done With Beatrice? Beato? More like Kobato

– It couldn’t be. So I discarded the feeling that I have already written a similar entry before.

How is it possible that Eva’s other self was able to separate herself from Eva? That just isn’t possible from a logical point of view then again we’re talking about Umineko and making sense of it is even harder than learning Mahjong by just watching anime. I know that there is a high chance that Eva-Beatrice will probably win this round then does that mean that she is going to be still acting as a Golden Witch after the arc is over? I mean Eva skipped all the basic magic lessons and training and whatever and she’s capable of using magic like it’s nothing after being granted the Golden and Endless Witch title. I’m really surprised, no, shocked that the witches were so friendly towards her. I imaged that they wouldn’t let anyone else in their close tsundere circle.

Kobato – CLAMP Is Back In The Fall 09 (Impressions on Kobato)

Kobato has a mission, which is to fill a mysterious bottle of hers with the suffering from people’s hearts so her wish to go a certain place that she desires to go can be granted. I may be the only one that got the wrong impressions reading that part, oh well. On we go, so she is a very cheerful girl who wants to fulfill her wish to go someplace special –possibly the Golden Land– thus she must get mend the hearts of the people she meets and stuff them in a magical jar. It doesn’t sound like something I’d be usually be interested in watching. Not that amusing to be frank, yet my first impressions are still positive.

Nyan Koi! – Not All Talking Cats Can Be As Cool As Shamisen

By anime standards I was expecting the cats to turn into voluptuous women or something like that. Surprisingly, not seeing that anime cliché disappointed me a bit. In Nyan Koi all cats are real cats. Talking cats to be precise. Not exactly Shamisen cool. Just simple cats.

A seven year old kid in the story and as supposedly main premise make things worse actually. I don’t remember a show where an annoying seven year old kid was involved to be good. I’d hope that he’ll go away but he’s in the OP and doesn’t seem like he’s going anywhere. He’ll keep crying about her mama who was taken away by bad people with his only eye and get in the way of the others. We don’t know why they took his mother away and frankly I hope this isn’t the main premise because that would suck. 

A Certain Scientific Railgun – Watching It For The Same Reasons

Seems like a pretty solid show

 Things never made that much sense in TAMNI. Churches, magic, a city full of students. So they have lolis to protect the city? I’m lost really. Kuroko and Misaka were pretty awesome beating level 0 thugs and being Friendly with each other. I must admit that the comedy in Railgun was great. It got me laughing all the way. All the heavy yuri tones were hilarious too then again when does yuri fails, huh? Oh, you just thought Kampfer, didn’t you? So Koroko has some strong affection towards her onee-sama and goes rabu rabu very often, I think they got that across very strongly if it wasn’t clear enough already. Good comedy, nice character interaction, plot? Not sure yet. Actually, I don’t remember them being this funny before. I think I’m starting to see why they would get their own show. So I’m guessing that we’ll get to see Touma and some of the others characters pop up every now and then, huh.  As long as they stay clear of any TAMNI-like dialogues it should be fine.

Bakemonogatari – 12 – Love Story / Fascinated again – Analysis on Senjougahara

Everything started with a stapler

Senjougahara expresses her feelings in a roundabout way. Everyone does it at some level but Senjougahara is even trickier than most people. Although she is extremely straightforward, Senjougahara doesn’t completely come clean about everything. She is armed with a powerful sharp tongue that uses it masterfully to prevent others from getting to close to her as a shield you might say. But even that type harsh attitude didn’t bother Araragi. Later, I think that Senjougahara started to use it in different way. Her abusive language and also teasing became more of a way to communicate with the one who won her over rather than a way to push him away. It was a cleverly disguised way to get interesting replies as well as trigger scenes and reactions that you wouldn’t normally see otherwise. Senjougahara is so much fun to talk to.

This behavior might easily be misinterpreted and led to think that Senjougahara is cruel or way too extreme to even like. That’s the deal you’re getting. That’s how Senjougahara is. That’s how she has learned to communicate. In her own actions and sometimes sometimes verbally abusing Araragi (which was always hilarious) he is telling him in different ways that she has deep feelings for him. Sometimes it just flat out a love confession other times there were in encrypted codes. But that’s the way she is. Senjougahara isn’t simple.

CANAAN (final) – Cool characters were cool. I especially liked the Shaolin Monk Ending

Maria - ~UU. Wrong Maria. The ending was realistic enough, Maria and Cannan could not be together since  same-sex marriage isn’t legal in Japan. She continue working as a photographer even though she clearly sucks at it. Her family is loaded so it doesn’t make a difference.

CANNAN -  female Geass user. She never liked her original hair color so she bleached it. In the end she decided to part ways with Maria because she wasn’t digging so much the idea of having Maria take pictures of her all the time. It was becoming rather creepy. Plus, she didn’t like it that Maria was getting all her scoops from Canaan’s job either.

They made a pinky promise that they’ll reunite again after they either become straight or it was possible for them to get married.

Alphard /Alfalfa – I always thought that this crazy chic belonged in Full Metal Panic! The third raid or something. Despite the terrible things she did I couldn’t hate her. Perhaps it was the ponytail she had. Perhaps it was the name. Alphard took the next big step in trolling career (after Corporate Trolling) and became an anime terrorist which in a way is basically the same  thingonly that people die from of bio-weapons and bullets instead of only that people die from massive raeg. Oh, she gets to live but she loses her right arm. Now how is she going to beat people  up? Just get Winry to make you one and you’re back in the terrorist business.  

Umineko no Naku Koro Ni 13 – Did someone say FABULOUS?

Rosa tells her story when she was running away from home after she had huge fight with her mother. Interesting to note, how it was practically impossible to run away from home when you live in an island. Bummer. Of course, Rosa knew this well so instead of running away she seeks for the woman of the portray Beatrice who it was said that she lived in a secret mansion in Rokkenjima. Yes, a hidden mansion in an island. Even though Rosa is terrified of the witch her desire to ask for her help is even greater. Finally, she is able to find the mansion and there she finds a blonde woman sitting outside having a cup of tea. The woman turns around and greets the unexpected guest. Both of them chat for a bit and the obvious witch subject comes up. She accepts that she is called Beatrice. But she doesn’t know why she’s called that. Beato thinks that she’s just a normal human. *confused*

Human Beatrice is scared of leaving the mansion thinking that there are wolves outside that will kill her. No problem, just ask Horo to call them off. Rosa, who has lived in this island since she was little, knows well that there couldn’t be any of them in this place and promises Beatrice that it’ll be alright. It’ll be alright if you got more than one life to spare that is. Now Hikikomori have another excuse to stay inside.
