Princess Lover! – Sealing its own Fate. This one should’ve /Stayed away from the seriousness (Final Impressions)

Without a doubt what kept my interest in the show was Sylvia. I found the scenes where she was involved the funniest. Aside from her obvious similarity to a certain Fate/Stay Night character, Sylvia certainly worked hard to make the show more enjoyable for me. Her attitude and perseverance (she sealed the deal with her sob story) easily positioned her at the top of the four girls of the show. To be frank, I doubt that Princess Lover would’ve grabbed my interested if Sylvia weren’t in it. But you knew that already.  Also P.S. Teppei you failed for not going for her.

Charlotte wasn’t too bad. Like I said before it was nice to see that not all harem shows are dominated by the tsundere girl. So Charlotte’s air-headed and playful behavior came as nice surprise and since she was fun and all it was hard to dislike her. Plus every time that she and Sylvia got together something hilarious happened. The downside of her character is that she really didn’t understand anything that was going on which at some point sorta got on my nerves a few times. She got caught in trouble more than once and was pretty much unable to defend herself. Compared to Sylvia and Seika, Charlotte was the only who always had it the easiest imo still she gets Teppei without much of a fight.

The last episode of Princess Lover! was screaming for me to make that parody. As you can see I made the last post last night and I figure that I’ll try to make a video featuring the infamous Just as planned since I’ve been dying to do it for some time.

It took a few hours to get it right more or less. I had already forgotten how to do video editing, adding subtitles and such so it took me a bit to make that. Once I was finally done I uploaded the video to youtube and voila. I’m looking forward to making more of the Just as keikaku videos when I have the chance. Keikakus are everywhere. You just need to look for them.

Princess Lover # 7 : We’re getting serious

After the Onsen episode and other funny yet forgettable stuff, we’re finally getting back on track. The “main arc” (assuming this is it) starts in this episode. Time for very serious plot development to take place.

Princess Lover #3: -Tsundere chew out- Sylvia is just remarkable

Teppei is going have to have a duel against Sylvia. Yuu brings Teppei the sakabato special sword he uses for practice. The battousai gets ready cross swords with Sylvia who feels impatient. Contrary to what the first episode made us think I think that Teppei might be stronger than Sylvia after all. For some reason, Teppei wins the fight but he lets Sylvia have it. I’m surprised that Sylvia acknowledges Teppei defeat so easily seeing how prideful she is. I was expecting her to put up a fight. Maybe Sylvia thinks that she is stronger than Teppei? I guess that  Sylvia needs Avalon to unclock her your true powers after all.

Princess Lover #2 : where being ecchi is not punishable

Tsk tsk, making Yuu go against the sacred Meido Code is a no-no, Tepei. I enjoyed how Yuu, the maid, masterfully handles the topic of the master and servant. She makes it clear that there is a difference between the master and them. Now those are some classes that Shannon clearly skipped because she was flirting with George that day. No wonder she got killed. R.I.P We hardly knew you Shannon.

Impressions: Princess Lover is doing it right

I didn’t have much expectations for Princess Lovers but I was still waiting for this to be subbed very soon but I was not expecting was that PL was going to be this good. I was expecting this anime to have terrible pacing, boring characters,  horrible music and so many non-stop pantsu shots and ecchi moments that I would be  forced to stop watching.  However, this was not the case. What I saw was an anime with potential to be a great show instead.

 Hurray, I’m glad to see another potential show to put on my watch list and maybe blog about. Now, let’s go over all the +Pros that Princess Lover has.
